Successful pitch to Adidas

Brief: To create, (with very limited budget) a re-skin of the Adidas ‘Hype Area’ to fit the Tennis Luxe campaign while speaking to the 18-25 market. Here we were given the collection of outfits to take inspiration from. The products leaned heavily in style towards high society tennis wear and a clear ‘preppy’ look. It was a key objective of the client to foccus on a very young adult market.
Solution: Having 2 days to turn round this design and a very limited budget we looked at two options. A reskin of the pre-existing scaffold structure and alternatively a mock bedroom set up. The reskin focussed on using different textures and materials taken directly from the country club vibe, including green hedge walls and crushed velvet drapery. The launchzone became zonal in its practicality with areas for photo moments, a hero outfit and Adiclub signup. As an alternative to this we also looked at creating a stand alone launchzone. Taking inspiration from the creativity of the new generation and their content spaces often being their bedrooms, here we recreated a ‘Tennis Luxe’ imagined bedroom set up with some fun details such as a selfie mirror and a featured outfit area.
