WALKIE TALKIE CAFE

This interior feature was created while working at Acrylicize

My Role: Concept Designer

Client: Radar/Liberty Interior Designers

Brief: To create Lichtenstein inspired graphics for the cafe in the Walkie Talkie Building.

Solution: Our main challenge with this piece was to create a graphic which would work well as one but also look effective when split into different panels.

For this we went back to Litchenstein's own inspiration, 1950's comics. For our rendition we zoomed into these recreated comics to focus on the abstract lines, halftones and colour segments to create a bold yet pleasing aesthetic.
